Sharjah City Tour
Description of Sharjah City Tour
Sharjah is popularly known as the cultural city of the United Arab Emirates. It is located on a very short dis-tance to Dubai. Sharjah has one of the deepest harbors in the world, which is why it has a very rich history of trade. Mosques and Museums of elegant architecture dot the entire Emirate. The Blue Souq is very famous for incredible bargains. King Faisal Mosque (the largest mosque of the emirate), the Quran roundabout and the Federation of the Emirates are a few of the excellent locations for photo stops along with the newest addition of the flag island.
Tour Description:
The tour begins with a pickup from our designated pickup locations / hotels. It is a short 30 minute drive to Sharjah where the places to view would be the Qanat Al Qasba, a small art, culture, leisure, and tourist area in Sharjah with facilities including the Maraya Art Center, Eye of the Emirates Ferris wheel, restaurants, cafes, canal with Abra rides. The tour would then continue to Sharjah Museum, one of the main institutions in the Art Area. All essential facilities are set up in the exhibition halls including special adjustable lighting arrangements to give maximum effect to the displayed art works. Then we continue to Central Souq also known as Blue Souq, a beautiful two-part building designed in an appealing, if flashy, Arabic style. The ground floor has mostly modern jewellery, watches and designer clothing. The tour will pass across to Sharjah cornich followed to Fish Market. Lastly, we drive towards to Islamic Art Museum & Quran Round about before returning to designated location in Dubai. Upon completion of the tour, our chauffeur will drop you back to the pickup location.
